Things That Make Buyers Nervous

Prepare your property for sale properly with these three simple tips.
I’ve been hearing from a lot of homeowners who are planning to move in the next year, and if you’re in the same boat, I have some great advice to share today. Here are the things that I commonly see buyers use as justification for passing on a home:
1. Dirty A/C vents. This is a problem because it shows an overall lack of maintenance and could be taking years off the life of the system in the process.
2. Dusty ceiling fans. I’ve gone into so many homes with dusty, filthy fan blades. It’s one thing that buyers absolutely don’t want to see. This is an
easy one to remedy, so make sure your fans are spotless.
3. Nonoperational smoke detectors. I’ve been to many homes where the smoke detector is either disconnected or out of batteries.
These are just a few simple tips to prepare your home for a sale in 2021. If you need more tips or have any questions at all about the process, don’t hesitate to reach out via phone or email. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
