Wind mitigation can save homeowners a ton of money, and I cannot believe that there is anyone in today’s insurance industry who has not told their client about this opportunity to save.

According to today’s guest, Ladd Aliff from Allstate, wind mitigation inspections can save you up to 25% on your homeowners insurance. The inspection itself costs between $75 and $90, depending on who does it, so why not have it done?

If you have a wind mitigation inspection, you could save at least 25%.
Ladd and his company have a policy of reaching out to all their clients to review their policies each year. Around 30 days before the renewal, Allstate will make sure your carrier offers the best price and coverage for you. By law, the client will receive the renewal 45 to 60 days prior to the renewal day.  Pricing is only good for 30 days, so Ladd’s system will automatically reprice it and reshape it for you 30 days before the renewal. Then he’ll contact you ASAP to let you know the outcome.

Basically, all his clients are getting all the discounts they’re eligible for. That’s not necessarily best for what goes into Ladd’s pocket, but it is the best thing for the client. Vero is a small town, and he just wants to make sure that everyone is taken care of.

If you need to look into your own insurance coverage, you can contact Ladd at (772) 562-0092 or email him at ladd.aliff@allstate.com.
