In need of plans for this Fourth of July? Find out what’s going on in the Treasure Coast right here.

In today’s video, I’m coming to you from  Riverside Park, where I’m excited to celebrate the Fourth of July.

In just a few days, there will be an influx of food trucks, live music, games, and awesome fireworks displays for the Fourth of July. If you’re in need of plans this Independence Day, I’ve got a few suggestions for you to try out:

  • July 3—Hutchinson Island/Shucker’s Fireworks. Fireworks will begin at dusk (9 p.m.) on the beach over the water on Hutchinson Island at Shucker’s Restaurant and Grill. The DJ will begin playing at 6 p.m.

  • July 4—Annual Fourth of July Celebration at 3001 Riverside Park Drive, Vero Beach. The event runs from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. A parade is planned, but the time is not yet set. There will be food trucks, live bands, and family-friendly entertainment (including a bounce house!). Fireworks begin at 9 p.m., so bring your chairs and blankets!

  • July 4—Stars Over St. Lucie Fourth of July Celebration at  Veteran’s Memorial Park, 600 North Indian River Dr., Fort Pierce. Beginning at 6 p.m. and ending at 10 p.m., come enjoy live bands, great good and arts and crafts. This event is family-friendly, so bring your kids to enjoy various activities and face painting. The fireworks display over the water will begin at 9 p.m.

  • July 4—Annual Fourth of July Boat Parade and BBQ at the Fort Pierce Turning Basin. At noon, come decorate your boat in red, white, and blue. All boats, large and small, are invited to come participate! Visit www.fortpierceyachtclub.com to enter your boat.

    • Tip: The best places to watch the fireworks in Fort Pierce are: Veteran’s Memorial Park, Fort Pierce City Marina, River Walk Center, Causeway Bridge, Cobb’s Landing, and Jaycee Park.

  • July 4—Sebastian Annual Fourth of July Festival in Riverview Park. This is an all-day festival where you’ll find food vendors, craft booths, live bands, and fun contests for things like hula hooping and watermelon/pizza-eating competitions. The parade begins at 8:30 p.m., and the fireworks will go off at sunset.

  • July 4—Port St. Lucie Freedomfest at the Civic Center Village Square (9221 S.E. Civic Center Place). Here, you’ll be able to enjoy food, crafts, games, bounce houses, and live music. Parking and admission are free! Freedomfest is from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., and there will be a VIP party from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The fireworks display will begin at 9 p.m.

    • VIP Party: Escape the heat and join the fun in the civic center’s emerald ballroom. Experience fantastic food and front row seats on the civic center terrace to watch the fireworks. Tickets also include a delicious BBQ dinner, complimentary beer, wine, and soft drinks, a kid zone with face painting and balloon artists, a DJ tribute. Tickets are $30 per adult, $10 for children (4-12), and kids 3 & under are free. Tickets can be purchased at the civic center box office.
