What’s Happening in the Vero Beach Real Estate Market?
November 13, 2017 | Kelly Fischer
What’s happening in the Vero Beach real estate market? Whether you are buying or selling a home, this November is a great time to be in the market.
It’s been a few weeks since I did a video, but it’s not without good reason. We’ve been super busy this summer and into the fall.
In fact, last October, we put 11 new properties on the market. That’s good news for those sellers. They are getting a jump on the season by putting their homes on the market before we have our inevitable 20% to 30% inventory jump
after the holidays.
As of this morning, we have over 3,500 homes for sale in Indian River County. For the buyers out there, you have a lot of homes to choose from, which is really great. There are a lot of nice properties that have hit the market over the last couple
of weeks. I hope you’ll consider starting your search on our new website, KellySoldMyHome.com.
Here in Florida, we love the beginning of November because it marks the end of hurricane season. As you all know, Hurricane Irma caused a lot of damage in some parts of Florida. Fortunately, Vero Beach and Sebastian were spared from the storm.
We are thankful, grateful, and blessed that Irma circumvented Vero Beach.
Now is a great time to put your home on the market.
Now that hurricane season is over, we are “in season” here in Florida. Snowbirds are coming to town to winter here. Some snowbirds do end up living
here permanently, so it’s a great time to put your home on the market and take advantage of all of the extra people here in Florida for the next couple months.
Finally, the weather has been unbelievable lately. We’ve had some great sunny, balmy days in the high 70s. All you need is a light jacket in the evenings. I know a lot of people love the colder weather. I’ve seen a lot of Instagram posts about
sweater weather. I myself prefer summer, but I know you sweater weather fans have been loving the Florida weather lately.
We are gearing up for the busy months ahead but we would love to help you take advantage of the market. Interest rates are still low and there are a lot of homes for buyers to choose from. If you’re thinking of selling your home, don’t wait. Inventory
will jump in the next couple of months and you will have a lot more competition.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. My team and I would be happy to help you!
