Despite the tragedy of Irma and Harvey, people are showing their true colors by helping friends, neighbors, and strangers.

It’s just two days after Hurricane Irma struck Florida, and it has been absolutely crazy down here. At the same time, however, we have heard so many wonderful, miraculous stories and seen so many great things happening here.

After everything blows over, the sun comes out and people start working together, helping their neighbors, and just being grateful.

That’s where I am right now—really, really grateful. In 2004, we had a lot of damage to our  homes after the two twin storms, but for Irma we came home to a dry, fully intact house. How can you not be grateful for that?

Anything you can do to help, whether it’s just a smile, a helping hand, or a donation will be appreciated.
Now we’re getting back to work—we’ve got power and internet again. We’re just trying to work through existing deals and looking at who needs help with what.

I just wanted to encourage everyone who’s out there in Vero Beach or in other parts of Florida to just be mindful of the fact that everyone is going through a struggle, and everyone is in need of something. Anything you can do to help, whether it’s just a smile, a helping hand, or a donation will be appreciated.

If you’re here in Florida or in Houston, or if you’re somewhere where there hasn’t been a natural disaster, please just keep an eye for the people around you and what they need.

With that said, I hope you have a great day, and that you find someone to help and to bless. Please call us if you have any needs at all, real estate-related or otherwise.
